Your Responsibilities:
- Industry Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the CPG industry, staying ahead of trends and leveraging this knowledge to offer cutting-edge SaaS solutions.
- Drive Business Growth: Identify and pursue new opportunities with retailers and brands, delivering tailored technology solutions that address their unique challenges.
- Strategic Account Management: Build and execute account plans to expand revenue, meet ambitious sales targets, and bring in $1M of new business in your first year.
- Client Success: Conduct needs assessments and recommend customized solutions, including our Merchandising App, to address pain points and maximize value.
- Tools & Outreach: Leverage platforms like HubSpot and ZoomInfo to identify prospects, manage relationships, and execute successful sales strategies.
- Representation & Networking: Represent Analyticsmart at industry events and conferences, showcasing our unmatched expertise and revolutionary tools.
- Collaborative Approach: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of technology solutions tailored for CPG clients.
- Customer Excellence: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships.
- Continuous Improvement: Share insights, refine strategies, and contribute to the success of your peers and the company as a whole.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Industry Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Account Management and Sales, preferably in the CPG industry or SaaS technology sales.
- Track Record of Success: A history of exceeding sales quotas and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Business Development Skills: Exceptional ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, and develop tailored solutions for retailers and brands.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with SaaS tools, sales platforms, and CRM systems, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success.
- Communication & Leadership: Strong presentation, negotiation, and project management skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated and proactive, thriving in a remote work environment while managing multiple priorities.

About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned leader to join as Manager, Software Engineer who excels in bridging business needs with technical execution, while leveraging our tech stack to deliver impactful solutions. Reporting to the Director of Product & Strategy, this high-impact role involves leading a team of front-end and back-end developers, managing technical projects, and translating client requirements into scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
🛠️ Technical & Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of React.js (front-end), Node.js, Python (back-end), and full-stack developers, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical standards.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, business stakeholders, and developers, translating business requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions.
- Oversee project execution by defining milestones, allocating resources, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Serve as Scrum Master: facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Conduct regular code reviews to maintain quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
- Design scalable and robust technical solutions using React.js, Node.js, Python, and related tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, BI, and Sales teams to align technical implementations with business objectives.
- Identify potential risks or roadblocks early and implement mitigation strategies.
- Mentor team members and maintain thorough documentation of technical processes and architectural decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in full-stack development (front-end & back-end), with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in React.js, Node.js, Python, and related frameworks.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL, MS SQL, and other databases.
- Proven track record of managing complex technical projects with a hands-on approach.
- Hands-on experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to navigate technical and business challenges.
